I have added the ability for the league admins to add suspensions directly to the database.  As such they will no longer need to use the forums to keep track of the suspensions.  The suspensions link now displays the list of suspensions from the database and no longer links to the forums.  This will now be the official list.  Also, rosters will now show the red line through the Steam ID if the player is suspended.  If a player has a red line through their Steam ID they ARE suspended.  There are no exceptions to this.  If you believe the red line is an error contact the league admin.

Tpg matches for Sunday Feb. 5th 2012 will be cancelled due to the NFL SuperBowl. All matches will be pushed to the following week. The next scheduled matches will be on Sunday Feb. 12 2012.

Yesterday the server hosting TPG's database went down due to some bad hardware.  Temporarily we have switched the database to a new server to get the site up and running.  You may notice the site is significantly slower.  Hopefully this will only be temporary as we work on a more permanent fix.  Thank you for your patietence.

The start of regular season for TPG will be this Sunday January 8th, 2012. Below is all the maps and configs for this season. Please download and install. Teams with servers are required to have all the files installed onto their server PRIOR to match night. Here are the files:

Here is some important information to remember:

1. An Rcon Staus Screenshot is REQUIRED EVERY MATCH! Team captain and/or server operators MUST take one each round with ALL the players in the server.

2. Matches MUST be scheduled via TPG Match Comm. Teams that do not use this system to schedule matches will receive a FF loss if a match is not played. Teams must accept or propose matches. You can decline a proposal but you must follow with another proposal to get the match played in a reasonable time frame. If no proposal can be reached, DEFAULT time is final.

3. FF's. For a team to recieve a ff win, they must first have accepted or proposed a match time via TPG Match Comm. If both teams have agreed on a match time both teams must join the server at accepted time. If the other team does not have enough players after 20 minutes, the team with enough players must take a screenshot of scoreboard showing their entire team in the server. This is to help you prove that you did show up and they didn't. At that time the team may leave and report a FF win. The other team does NOT have to allow you to use a RINGER. A screenshot of them agreeing is the best way to prove they allowed the ringer.

4. Log in. Players should log into their tpg accounts and verify they have the correct or updated email on their account. This will ensure that  if TPG sends you an email it will go to the correct email. They should also check their steam id to make sure it is correct.

5. Check your rates. Before every match players should check their rates to make sure they are set correctly. The values can be found in the TPG rules.

6. Make sure you have the maps installed and tested prior to match time. The other team does NOT have to wait for you to find and install the map or files.

7. Give the other team server info prior to match time. Include this in the TPG Match Comm. Do not assume they have your server ip and password.

8. Any player found crashing and/or spamming vents, servers or sending packets to player  will be removed from the league permenantly.

9. MM1. This is in the rules, read it. "They started it" will not be accepted as an excuse to violate this rule. Ignore them and submit a ticket with your demo after the match.

10. READ THE RULES. There has been a few changes. The rate rule being one of them. Read it. 

This is season 27 for TPG, there should be no excuses or problems at this point with match scheduling and rule violations. Lets keep the ff's to a minimum and keep the teams together. I wish all the teams in TPG good luck and remember to have fun.

We will have 2 weeks of preseason, then will be off for 2 weeks for the Christmas holidays. January 8 2012 will be week 1 of season 27. I would get your teams signed up asap so that we can finalize each division. Teams joining late may run the risk of not being placed for the season.

I have decided to extend roster locks until week 7. This is mainly due to the fact alot of teams dying. With players being teamless and looking for teams and also teams being short players, I feel its the least TPG could do to help this issue. Also on reporting FF losses , you do not report until default match time. You can not report a ff loss friday before the match. This locks rosters for the other team before default roster locks.

 

We are now at Week 6 in season 26. I want to remind teams that rosters will lock after week 6 for the remainder of the season and into playoffs. TPG will NOT add any player to a teams roster after week 6. So any roster changes you wish to do should be done this week.

Teams that allow suspened players to play on thier team will be removed from TPG.

I want to remind players to check your rates before the match goes live, record demos and take your screenshots.

The Proving Grounds "TPG" league welcomes all the new teams and the veteran teams to another season of TPG 6v6 Day of Defeat. We are now offering 3 divisions of game skill. Invite, Main, and Open. This allows players and teams with equal skill to better compete against each other. We are also offering our South American Teams into our North American divisions. With 30 teams active in TPG 6v6 this allows a good amount of teams per division and an exciting new season 26 here at TPG. We want to wish good luck to all the teams and players. Rule change, We have changed the rule concerning boosting Please read the updated Rule 7.5. Please read the rules. There may have been changes in the past few seasons that you should update yourself with.

Rcon Status Is required to be taken both rounds by the server hosting team. Rule 4.4.

All Players must record individual demos and screenshots.

Players caught cheating in scrims or 12mans will be suspended from TPG League. 

When creating a support ticket, you must include your game handle, and team information. If this is a cheating ticket, you must include the players Steam Id,game handle and a link to the screenshots. If you are the hosting team a link to the rcon status is required at the time of creating ticket. Please include all information that would help in your case, the more information we have the easier and faster it is to resolve the ticket for you. Here is an example ticket format to use.
