This post is to notify the league that player "donedeal" of team Deuces Wild currently in USA Upper is suspended for the remainder of Season 22 due to cheating in a TPG match.  Player's Steam ID is STEAM_0:1:594618.

It is the responsibility of each individual team to verify Steam ID's ingame with Steam ID's listed on the TPG website.  Rcon status snapshots with Steam ID's and ip addresses should always be taken and saved for later use.

I just wanted to forewarn everyone that Gameservers insisted on screwing me on my DOD server.  I bought a DOD private server awhile back for a 6 month period of time and recently they decided to bill me for another 6 month period automatically without warning or asking me.  They cited some line buried deep in their service agreement that allows them to automatically renew my server subscription and bill me if I do not explicitly contact them with a support ticket and request that they do not do this.  Every other transaction I've had with them was emailed to me, but this magic auto-renew I was not emailed about the coming renewal or when it occurred.

So if you have a current server with them that you may one day cancel in the future be aware of this.  Also, I would not recommend doing business with a company that does shady things like this and then informs me that it is "impossible" to give me a refund on what they billed to my credit card (per Brendan Kiel of Gameservers support).

TPG 6v6 is now looking to hire admins for the upcoming season starting soon.  Anyone who is interested and is able to dedicate the necessary time to the league please fill out an admin application here:

TPG 3v3 is returning for its 15th season! If you have never participated in TPG 3v3 or would like to get back into the 3v3 league now is the time to do it as this may be the last season of TPG 3v3 ever. Finding 2 other people to form a roster of 3 is fairly easy and the league is a lot fun. 

TPG 3v3 features: 
- 12 min rounds 
- 3 sec spawn times 
- Small fast-paced custom maps 
- No snipers or MGs. 

The league will run on Wed. nights from July 22 through Sept 2 with playoffs being Sept 9 through Sept 23. 

Due to the long layoff before the start of the next TPG 6v6 season I am planning something to hold everyone over.  Stay tuned for details.  It may be a 6v6 tournament, a 3v3 league, theme maps, or a special rules league.  Something will be in the works.  Please check back this weekend for more details.

As some of you may or may not know,

CAL's General Admin for Day of Defeat Omar Martinez and myself work together to put out our season rotations.

Due to Valve's hl.exe update, it has interrupted our season rotation by one week.

In order to continue with the rotation I've decided to postpone Week 6 DoD_lennon_b2

Please use this coming Sunday Nov 2nd as a extra practice week or just simply enjoy your weekend.

 Season 20's Week 6 dod_Lennon_b2 will take place on Nov, 9th

The staff @ Valve have decided to update the hl.exe and is now causing problems with our game.

(If the problems have not been resolved by Sunday's matches, I will be adding an extra week to allow time for the update/fix.)

All server's must be updated to the newest Protocol 48 thur your control panel, or by contacting your game provider.

Also I've been told that adding "cl_solid_players 0" to your config.cfg might fix this error.

(however i feel it's still causing problems.)

Also cl_updaterate and cl_cmdrate is no longer supported by "101" it only goes up to "100" now.

(if you try using "101" it will be changed to default "20" and "30" )

Please don't get caught using bad rates.

Our standard is rate 20000 - cl_updaterate 60   -  cl_cmdrate 60

 

SIDE NOTE for Player's creating new teams:

I've said this a million times on IRC, TPG News, and in EMails and I'll say it once more.

"If your team does not list a working IRC "team channel"

I will just delete this team and you can try again.

ex: #scrimdod, leaving it blank, or N/A (is not a team channel) .
