Some important notes about playoff seedings.  All makeup matches must be reported by Friday night at midnight, so that I can release playoff brackets in time for teams to schedule with each other for round 1.

The following active teams are currently eliminated from the playoffs:
Surprise - Eliminated by win/loss record
That's not real -Eliminated due to 2 forfeit wins (may play makeup matches)
Team Presidio - Eliminated due to 2 forfeit wins (may play makeup matches)
Vahalla 3 - Eliminated due to 2 forfeit wins (may play makeup matches)

If you won by forfeit on a certain week these teams need to makeup a match please be willing to play a makeup match with them.  Please report all agreements for makeup matches as a support ticket.  If you need help finding a makeup match please file a support ticket.

Important notes about upcoming seasons:
The next 3v3 season will be The Tournament of Bones IV featuring all Halloween themed maps and will take place through the month of October.
The next 6v6 season will most likely begin September 20.  Registration should be opening soon.

Some important notes about playoff seedings. You may not have more than 1 forfeit win to make the playoffs.  If you have more than 1 forfeit win you must play a makeup match for that week.  You may also not have more than 1 forfeit loss.  Currently, the only active team that will be eliminated from the playoffs due to this rule is Vahalla 3.  The only active team that has been eliminated from the playoffs due to win/loss record is Stormtroopers.  Every other team is still mathematically able to make the playoffs at this point.

* Important:  Teams must re-download the newest server config for dod_hostile.  A new version of the config was released around week 3 of this season because of an error in the scoring. Both teams should make sure that when the config is executed it says version "7-30-09" on the screen. Both teams are responsible for checking this before the match goes live.  Any halves that use the old config will be required to be replayed.

Captains make sure you remember to turn logging on for your server (place "log on" in your server.cfg) and to take an rcon status snapshot before the start of every match on your server.  Players don't forget to start your demos before the match goes live.

The map for week 3 is dod_tensions

Formerly known as para_tensions this map was created by Holeman (the maker of dod_harrington) in the beta days of DOD.  When DOD retail was released and para maps were taken out of the game TPG-BuLLeT converted the map to a normal DOD map and added flags to it with Holeman's permission.  It has since become a popular 3v3 league map and can also be seen in the rotation of lots of public servers.

The default match time is 9 PM EDT on Wed night of the map's scheduled week.  If both teams cannot agree on a time to play their match it must be played at this time.  All matches must be scheduled using the TPG website's scheduling system.  If you have a server available you can enter this information into your team's profile to have it automatically given out to your opponent.  Make sure you keep it up-to-date to avoid the other team not being able to find your server come game time.

TPG 3v3 is returning for its 15th season! If you have never participated in TPG 3v3 or would like to get back into the 3v3 league now is the time to do it as this may be the last season of TPG 3v3 ever. Finding 2 other people to form a roster of 3 is fairly easy and the league is a lot fun. 

TPG 3v3 features: 
- 12 min rounds 
- 3 sec spawn times 
- Small fast-paced custom maps 
- No snipers or MGs. 

The league will run on Wed. nights from July 22 through Sept 2 with playoffs being Sept 9 through Sept 23. 

Congratulations to [JAZ&CO] on their season 14 championship.  This will be the last of season TPG 3v3.   I will be shutting down the 3v3 site once I get all of the historical information posted in the forums.  Thank you to everyone who has participated in TPG 3v3 over our 14 seasons.  It has been a pleasure.

This week's map has a halloween theme. It is also an extremely fun map.  I do recommend learning it before playing the match though. dod_25doors_flags (config).

If you were set inactive in the preseason and wish to participate in the regular season please let me know asap.   The schedule for week 1 will be done Thursday night to give time for inactive clans to request to be set active.

The map for preseason week 3 is dod_tensions (config).  Sorry for the late release of the schedule.  I was trying to get a new map to try out for this preseason, but I was unable to get it ready for this week.  Please make every attempt to contact your opponent up until 9:00 p.m. EST Monday night instead of filing forfeits early.  Thank you.  The regular season map rotation will be released soon.
